Thank you to everyone who allowed us to attend the IYPT this year!
In order to meet our goals of sending the five best students to represent the United States at the 2015 IYPT, in Thailand, and to help us build the framework necessary to make this a truly national endeavor, we need to raise $50,000. This will primarily be used to cover travel expenses, host the National Selection Tournament in March, and obtain equipment and materials necessary to conduct scientific research at a high level. We welcome corporate and private sponsors, all of whom can take advantage of tax-deductible donations through the Phoenixville Community Education Foundation (PCEF), a 501(c) (3) organization.
Alternatively, you can donate on our gofundme page.
The task of exploring the 17 problems designed by the IYPT is extraordinarily daunting. The students are expected to conduct their investigations at the highest level and contribute to the understanding of the entire scientific community. To do this effectively, they need mentors with strong physics and mathematics backgrounds, mentors who can help them identify ways to improve their experiments, clarify their conclusions and, ultimately, reach their fullest potential.
